I get promotional emails but don’t understand why?

There are two ways in which we send you our Viking newsletters:

2. If you haven't explicitly subscribed to our newsletter but have placed an order with us within the past year, we consider this as a demonstration of legitimate interest in our business and we would like to share our best offers with you. (This policy is applicable to business customers only).
